In front of the Grave
A little girl asks me:
“How come Death visits no other countries?!”

Our freedom flag… the only thing left standing after such brutal destruction!

This is Mazzeh, located in the oldest continuously inhabited capital on Earth: Damascus, Syria.
Assad is destroying it. A ‘President’ is literally destroying his own capital.

Pray for Syria.

Jouret Al Sheyah, a residential and civilian neighborhood in Homs, Syria. ….or what’s left of it.
Thanks @lmbasha

Bashar ASSad has no humanity, and would stop at nothing, not killing children, not destroying cities, not even burning down the whole country of which he is a “president”, to remain in power.
Pray for Syria!

instead of re-painting the anti-government graffiti on the trash dumpsters, the army confiscates them.
at first I laughed at the stupidity of the pro-ASSad soldiers.
then it struck me. this is no stupidity. this is evil brutality
this is collective punishment.
now the civilians in these neighborhoods have to contend with garbage infested streets, and to deal with disease-prone conditions.
ASSad regime has no moral compass nor humanity.
ASSad regime has to fall, if for no other reason but for this: it’s a government that responds to graffiti by inflicting disease on the civilian population.

On the day of love, Syria has faced 11 months of hatred and ugliness that we never imagined existed.
Our children are kidnapped and killed, our loved ones are shot at in random, or for the pleasure of the high ranking officers/thugs, our history is smeared with our fresh blood, and our murderer still has supporters and friends, in mockery of our sacrifices to show his criminal truth.
Syria is bleeding, with smoke and shattered homes and dreams in Homs, with dungeons of horrors unimagined in Damascus, with crushed childhood and hopes in Idlib and Daraa.
And Syria is calling for help.
———-
If you can answer the call, by any means, please do.
If you can’t, then please pray for Syria!

Translation: “Who’s this? The traitor who kills his own people”
May God save Syria. Please, please, PLEASE raise awareness.
Pray for Syria, our kids are being killed, our women are being tortured, our future is being suspended, ..and on your silence the killer is depending.
Syria NEEDS you.
Silence is a war crime!
